Take time to nurture your spirit . . .

During a life transition, it is wise to give yourself time for reflection, exercise and positive thinking! This page is offered to remind you to find your source of inspiration and tap into it daily.

From the Daily Word

PASS IT ON

I have been blessed with people who have been my positive role models and mentors.

Through the contributions of these thoughtful people, I have learned about loving and caring for others, the importance of sharing the resources available to me with those in need, the joy of giving a kind gesture to someone who needs a caring touch.

Those who have treated me with respect and dignity have taught me the importance of embracing all people who inhabit our world. There are those I do bless as I pass on the love, respect, and kindness I have received. The actions I take today have the potential to change a life for the better. My personal, sacred mission is to pass on to others the peace, hope, love, and joy within me.

______________

From Nelson Mandela

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
