ONLINE CONNECTIONS

The Yahoo Group for the Scottsdale Job Network (SJN) is our closed online resource that allows members to stay connected 24/7.

Postings allowed:  job openings, information about jobs in Arizona, information about upcoming events related to jobs and job-seeking, asking for help with specific job-seeking techniques or at specific employers, advice on job seeking in general, information on making job transitions, information about being successful at work, etc.

Postings not allowed:  promoting your own business, promoting yourself, information about events that do not have a link to networking that could lead to someone finding a job, criticisms of others, topics not related to helping people find a job or enhancing their career, anything related to networking marketing, other questions off-topic.

The Yahoo Group of our Scottsdale Networking Group offers participants access to the history of posted messages, files and links with relevant information, copies of past speaker presentations, a membership list with contact information on all job seekers, alumni members, recruiters and volunteer members, plus it contains a calendar with regular reminders to your email box of our upcoming events.

To participate in the Yahoo Group, attendance is required at one meeting.  There, job seekers and recruiters will fill out a membership form requesting participation in SJN and our Yahoo Group.
